Waggy Tails Darlington is a dog walking, home boarding, and pet care service based in Darlington, County Durham. Licensed by Darlington Borough Council (Licence No. DL25/00150/AN1LIC).

  • Documents you upload (vaccination records, insurance certificates, vet records)

  • Account login credentials (email and password)

How We Use Your Data

We use your personal data to:

  • Respond to your enquiry or booking request
  • Provide our dog walking, boarding, and pet care services
  • Manage your customer account and portal access
  • Store and display your dog's care information so we can look after them properly
  • Store documents you upload for your records and ours
  • Contact you about your booking or your dog's care
  • Send you updates about our services (only if you've opted in)

We will never sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Customer Portal

If you are registered as a customer, you will have access to a secure portal where you can view your dog's information, upload documents, and manage your account. Access to your portal data is limited to you, Waggy Tails administrators, and authorised staff members.

How We Store Your Data

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a hosted database platform with encryption at rest and in transit. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. Uploaded documents are stored in secure cloud storage and access is restricted to authorised users only.

Booking and enquiry details submitted via homepage forms are sent to us via WhatsApp.

Your Rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data and account
  • Withdraw consent for us to contact you
